This policy describes how The Wild Rendezvous collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit thewildrendezvous.com, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data collected
We do not collect any personal data from simply browsing the site. The only data we gather is what you voluntarily submit through our contact form: your name, your phone number, your email address and the content of your message (for example, your plans to adopt a Maine Coon, Savannah or Highland Lynx kitten).
Purpose and legal basis
This information is used solely to respond to your request, to communicate with you about a reservation and, where applicable, to keep you informed about our upcoming litters of kittens. The legal basis is your consent, along with the pre-contractual steps taken at your request. Your data is never sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
Recipients and subprocessors
Messages sent from the form are delivered to our mailbox by technical providers acting as subprocessors within the meaning of the GDPR: Cloudflare, Inc. (site hosting and anti-spam protection of the form) and Resend (email delivery). Only The Wild Rendezvous has access to the content of your messages. In addition, the WhatsApp button shown on the site opens a conversation in the WhatsApp app (Meta), outside our site; this exchange is not covered by the contact form.
Cookies and audience measurement
We use Google Analytics to understand how this site is used and to improve it. It sets audience-measurement cookies (_ga) and is loaded only after you agree: until you accept through the banner, no measurement script is downloaded and no cookie is set. Refusing has no effect on your browsing. This site setsno advertising cookies and uses no advertising tracking tool. The only other cookie that may be set is the strictly necessary one from the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot system that protects the contact form; it does not allow you to be tracked from one site to another and does not require prior consent.

Data retention period
Data submitted through the contact form is kept for 3 years from our last exchange, unless you request earlier deletion.

Security
This site is served via the Cloudflare network with systematic HTTPS encryption. Contact form submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to limit automated abuse.
